OpenOffice.org is a complete set of Office productivity applications. OOo includes a Word Processor, Spread Sheet, Presentation maker, and drawing program, but it also includes Math, for writing mathematical formula, and base, an easy-to-use database manager with an integrated database.

OpenOffice uses the Open Document Format as it's native file format. This is a critical advantage for protecting the long term integrity and accessibility of important information.

• Impress - Fast and easy way to create multimedia presentations using pecial effects, animation and high-impact drawing tools.
• Draw - Drawing Program to create simple diagrams, dynamic 3D illustrations and special effects. Draw can also be used as a basic page layout program for brochures and posters.
• Math - Designed for presenting mathematical formulas, Math is an equation editor that can be used as a stand-alone application, or embedded inside other programs.
• Base - BASE enables you to manipulate database data seamlessly within OpenOffice.org. Create and modify tables, forms, queries, and reports, either using your own database or BASE’s own built-in HSQL database engine. BASE offers a choice of using Wizards, Design Views, or SQL Views for beginners, intermediate, and advanced users
